AdE LAB PHILOSOPHY
The Opera Preparation Lab by AdE addresses:
- professional Opera singers who wish to polish a role they are going to perform or audition for &
- emerging Opera singers who wish to enrich their repertoire and be ready when opportunity calls.
Each course will be dedicated to a different Opera and its leading character(s).
Singers will have the opportunity to study a role under a renowned Opera singer praised worldwide for their interpretation of the featured Opera's main character and an acclaimed conductor/coach.
Our mentors follow a holistic approach incorporating all relevant elements such as musicality, technical issues, interpretation and improvement of language skills.
Participants will be selected based on their submissions of artistic material. Each AdE Lab course will involve fully active participants selected to study the whole role, semi active participants who will study only the arias and auditors. All participants will be able to audit each other's sessions.
At the end of the program participants and mentors will jointly select an aria to record. The recording will be promoted by AdE on our website and social media.
These Masterclasses are an investment in your future.
